Educational Qualifications
a) Junior Translation Officer: Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Hindi or English, with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level, or a Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level. Additionally, candidates should have a recognized diploma or certificate course in translation or two years’ experience in translation.
b) Junior Occupational Therapist: Candidates must hold a Degree in Occupational Therapy, with two years’ experience in an Occupational Therapy Department in a hospital. Alternatively, a Diploma in Occupational Therapy (not less than 3 years) with three years’ experience in an Occupational Therapy Department in a hospital is also acceptable.
c) Medical Laboratory Technologist: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, or MLT (Blood Banking) with two years’ relevant experience in a recognized institution or hospital.
d) Nursing Officer: Candidates must possess a B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council recognized institute or university or a B.Sc. (Post-certificate) or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with registration as Nurse and Midwife in State or Indian Nursing Council. Alternatively, a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery with registration as Nurse and Midwife in State or Indian Nursing Council and two years’ experience in a minimum 50 bedded hospital is required.
e) Tutor in Speech Pathology & Audiology: Candidates must have a postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Audiology or a degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Audiology with three years of teaching experience. Knowledge of Tamil is desirable.
f) X-Ray Technician (Radiotherapy): Candidates must have a B.Sc. in Radiation Technology or B.Sc. in Radiotherapy Technology along with AERB e-LORA Registration and two years’ experience in operating radiotherapy equipment.
g) X-Ray Technician (Radiodiagnosis): Candidates must have a B.Sc. in Radiography or Medical Imaging Technology or equivalent (3 years course) with two years’ experience in operating radio diagnosis equipment.
h) Technical Assistant Electronics (Physiology): Candidates must have a degree in Engineering in Electronics or Electrical or equivalent, or a Diploma in Engineering in Electronics or Electrical with two years’ experience in maintenance of electronic equipment.
i) Technical Assistant (Nuclear Medicine): Candidates must possess a degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology approved by AERB, or a degree in Physics, Chemistry, Bio-chemistry, Microbiology, or Life Sciences with a postgraduate diploma in Medical Radiation and Isotope Technology (DMRIT) approved by AERB.
j) Anaesthesia Technician: Candidates must have a degree in Anaesthesia Technology from a recognized institution or hospital, or a diploma in Anaesthesia Technology (2 years course) with one year experience in handling anaesthesia equipment.
k) Audiology Technician: Candidates must have a Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS), Diploma in Hearing Aid, or Earmould Technology (DHA&ET) from a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) recognized center or equivalent. Knowledge of Tamil is desirable.
l) Junior Administrative Assistant: Candidates must have passed the 12th class or equivalent qualification, with a typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on a computer.
m) Pharmacist: Candidates must possess a degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university with one year experience as a Pharmacist or a diploma in Pharmacy with two years’ experience as a Pharmacist. Candidates should be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
n) Respiratory Laboratory Technician: Candidates must have a B.Sc. (MLT) degree from a recognized university. One year experience in a Pulmonary Function Test Laboratory, Allergy Laboratory, or Respiratory Allergy and Immunotherapy Laboratory and one year training in computer software handling are desirable.
o) Stenographer Gr II: Candidates must have passed the 12th class or equivalent qualification with skill test norms in dictation (10 minutes @ 80 w.p.m.) and transcription (65 minutes for English, 75 minutes for Hindi on a manual typewriter or 50 minutes for English, 65 minutes for Hindi on a computer).
p) Cardiographic Technician: Candidates must have a B.Sc. in Cardiac Technology, Cardiac Laboratory Technician, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technology, or equivalent qualification.
