Central Bank of India, leading Public Sector Bank is seeking applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Apprentices for 3000 vacancies, in accordance with Apprentices Act, 1961 and its own Apprenticeship policy. Selected candidates will be appointed to branches/offices in the respective regions. Candidates can apply online from 21st February 2024 to 27th March 2024 (Last Date has been extended).

Educational Qualifications/ Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university or equivalent qualifications.
- The candidate should have proficiency in local language. Candidates have to studied local languages as one of subject at VIII/X/XII or Graduation level.
Age Limit
Applicants should be born between April 1, 1996, to March 31, 2004, as on cut-off date. However, relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for categories (Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/OBC/ PWBD etc. as per Govt. of India guidelines.

Stipend for Apprentices
Candidates engaged for Apprentice will be paid Stipend of Rs. 15000/- per month.
Selection Process
An Online Written Test (objective type) will be conducted by the Bank for the selection of candidates. After the test, candidates who meet the qualifying cut-off marks will be invited for an interview at the nearest Regional Office of Central Bank of India. Candidates should bring their original documents to the interview.
Engagement Period
Engagement period for Apprentice post is 12 months. Upon completion of apprenticeship training, apprentices will undergo an assessment test encompassing both theoretical and on-the-job training components. Following the assessment, an Apprenticeship Certificate will be awarded by the Board of apprentices training.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay Application/ Examination/ Intimation fee through online mode as follows:
- PwBD Candidates – Rs. 400/-
- Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ All Women candidates/EWS – Rs. 600/-
- All Other Candidates – Rs. 800/-
How to Apply for Jobs
Firstly, candidates have to register on the official apprenticeship portal https://nats.education.gov.in/ before applying for apprenticeship in the Bank. After registration candidates can apply through for “Apprenticeship with Central Bank of India” from 21st February 2024. Last date to submit online application has been extended up to 27th March 2024.
