Educational Qualifications
a) Sr. Medical Specialist: For General Surgery, General Medicine & Pulmonary Medicine discipline: (i) Candidate must have MBBS qualification. (ii) Post Graduation degree/ Diplomate National Board (DNB) along with 03 years post qualification experience
For other specialists, the Candidate should have Post Graduate Diploma along with above mentioned qualifications.
b) Medical Specialist: For General Surgery, General Medicine & Pulmonary Medicine discipline:(i) Candidate must have MBBS qualification. (ii) Post Graduation degree/ Diplomate National Board (DNB).
For other specialists, the Candidate should have Post Graduate Diploma along with above mentioned qualifications.
c) Sr Medical Officer: (i) Candidate must have MBBS qualification approved by Medical Council of India. (ii) Experience in private practice/ self-clinic may be considered.
d) Sr Medical Officer (Dental): (i) Candidate must have completed Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and have 01-year post qualification experience from a Hospital/Clinic. (ii) The Experience in private practice/ self-clinic may also be considered.
Scale of Pay
- Sr. Medical Specialist (E-4): Rs. 70,000- 2,00,000
- Medical Specialist (E-3): Rs. 60,000-1,80,000
- Sr. Medical Officer (E-3): Rs. 60,000-1,80,000
- Sr. Medical Officer (Dental) (E-3): Rs. 60,000-1,80,000
Age Limit (as on 31st January 2024)
- Sr. Medical Specialist (E4 Grade): Upper age limit is 42 years for General/ Unreserved (UR) Candidates.
- Sr. Medical Officer, (Sr. Medical Officer (Dental) /Medical Specialist: Upper age limit is 35 years for General/ Unreserved (UR) Candidates

Selection Process
Selection process will consider the number of attempts in acquiring qualification, experience, and personal Interview. Candidates selected after interview will undergo Initial Medical Examination (IME).
Shortlisted candidates should come to the interview with the original and two photocopies of all required documents, along with the completed application form.
