Education Qualification
(i) Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production): Candidate must possess one of the following: A 3-year diploma in Chemical, Petroleum, or Petrochemical Engineering/Technology OR A Bachelor of Science degree with Chemistry as the major subject.
(ii) Jr. Quality Control Analyst -IV (QC) Trainee: Bachelor of Science degree with Chemistry as main subject and at least 60% overall marks.
(iii) Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Mechanical/ Electrical): 3-year diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
(iv) Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Instrumentation): 3-year diploma in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Electronics / Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics & Communication from a recognized institution
(v) Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (P&U Mechanical/ Electrical): 3-year diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
(vi) Junior Technical Assistant-IV (Fire & Safety) Trainee: Matriculation passed (Class X) along with Sub-Officers’ Course from NFSC-Nagpur or equivalent qualification

Age Limit (as 1st February.2024): Upper age limit is 30 years for Jr. Engg. Assistant -IV (Production) Category 2, Jr. Engg. Asstt-IV (Mech) Category 2, Jr. Engg. Asstt-IV (Elect.) Category 2. For remaining positions, upper age limit is 26 years as on 01.02.2024. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for PwD (13 years for OBC & 15 years for SC / ST).
Pay Scale/ Emoluments
Category 1 : Pay Scale of Rs. 25,000-1,05,000/- on a basic pay of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand only) in Grade IV
Category 2: Pay Scale of Rs. 25,000-1,05,000/- in Grade IV in Non-Supervisory cadre
For other posts: Candidate will be paid monthly stipend of Rs. 44,000/- (Rupees Forty-Four Thousand only). Upon successful completion of training and subsequent evaluation, candidates will be appointed to Grade IV within the Non-Supervisory cadre in the IDA Pay Scale of Rs. 25,000-1,05,000 on a basic pay of Rs. 25,000/-.
Application Fees: General, EWS and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates will pay application fee charges of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only). Fees can be paid online (through SBI e-pay) opened during online application form by using any of Debit Cards / Credit Cards, Internet Banking. No fee charges for SC /ST / PwBD / ExSM / Women candidates.
Method of Recruitment: For selection of posts, an Online Test and a Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT) will be conducted. Thereafter, shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of documents. Examination will be conducted tentatively on 10th March 2024 at Chennai only.
