Educational Qualifications/ Eligibility
(i) Candidate must possess either Master’s degree in Science (M.Sc.) or Master Degree in Agricultural Sciences.
(ii) Applicants must appear for ICAR AICTE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D) – 2024 examination to be able to apply for the Scientist B (Pre-Cocoon Sector) post.

Age Limit (as on 25.03.2024)
Candidate should be below 35 years as on 25th March 2024 to be able to apply for Scientist B (Pre-Cocoon Sector) post.
Scale of Pay
Candidate selected for Scientist B posts will be entitled for scale of pay Rs. 56100-177500 (Level-10).
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected for posts through Interview conducted by the Central Silk Board. Based on marks in qualification/ score in the ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D) – 2024 Examination, candidates will be shortlisted for Interview.
