Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification for recruitment to 323 vacancies of Personal Assistant in Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Ministry of Labour & Employment. Online applications are invited through the official website of UPSC starting from 7th March 2024 to 27th March 2024.

Educational Qualifications
(i) Candidate must possess a Graduate degree to applying for the post. (ii) (a) Candidate must be able to dictate in Stenography (either English or Hindi) with speed of 120 per minute for a time period of 10 minutes (b) Transcription Time for the dictation (ii) (a): 50 minutes (English) / 65 minutes (Hindi) (Only on Computer)

Age Limit (as on 31.03.2024)
Minimum age limit is 18 years for all categories and upper age limit is 30 years for Unreserved/ Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates. Upper age limit is 33 years for OBCs; 35 years for SC/ ST candidates; 40 years for PwBDs.
Scale of Pay
Candidates selected on Personal Assistant post will be paid salary in Level- 07 of the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
Selection Process
For the selection of Personal Assistant posts, UPSC will conduct a pen & paper-based Recruitment Test (RT) on 7th July 2024 in various centres across the country. Shortlisted candidates from Recruitment Test will then be called for Skill test(s). Details of date of Skill Test(s) will be informed by UPSC later on its website. Application Fee
Applicants need to submit application fee of Rs. 25/- (Twenty-five Rupees) through either cash by depositing at any State Bank of India (SBI) branch or online using net banking from any bank, or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment. No fee is required from Female/ SC/ ST/ Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates.
