Educational Qualifications
a) English Stenographer Grade-II (Class-II):
(i) Candidate must possess Graduate degree in any field. (ii) Candidate must have speed of 120 wpm in English Shorthand. (iii) Candidate must have basic understanding of computer operations. (iv) Candidate should also have proficiency in English, Gujarati, and Hindi
b) English Stenographer Grade – III (Class-III):
(i) Candidate must possess Graduate degree in any field. (ii) Candidate must have speed of 100 wpm in English Shorthand. (iii) Candidate must have basic understanding of computer operations. (iv) Candidate should also have proficiency in English, Gujarati, and Hindi

Selection Process
A Competitive Examination will be conducted for the selection of candidates. Competitive Examination will consist of Elimination Test (Objective Type- MCQs), Stenography / Skill Test and Viva-voce Test (Oral Interview). Elimination Test (Objective Type-MCQs) will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) which is tentatively scheduled on 16/06/2024 (Sunday).
Candidates who will obtain minimum 50% marks in Elimination Test will be called for Stenography/Skill Test. Final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in Stenography/Skill Test and the Viva-voce Test.
