Educational Qualifications/ Eligibility Criteria
(i) Candidate must possess a degree in Ayurvedic System of Medicine from any recognized University/ Institution.
(ii) Candidate must possess knowledge of Hindi language (upto Matric Level).
(iii) Candidate should be registered with Ayurvedic/ Unani System of Medicine, Haryana (Which is now, Indian Medical Council of Haryana).
Age Limit
The minimum age requirement for Ayurvedic Medical Officer post is 23 years and maximum age requirement is 42 years old as on June 1st, 2024. Relaxation in upper age limit is available for reserved categories as per rules.
Pay Scale
Candidate selected for Ayurvedic Medical Officer (Group-B) post will receive salary in the pay scale FPL-08 with initial pay Rs. 47600/- (as per 7th Pay Commission).
Selection Process
Selection process for Ayurvedic Medical Officer (Group-B) post will consist of a Written Test and Interview.

How to Apply for HPSC Recruitment
Online application submission link will be available from 22nd June 2024 to 12th July 2024 at Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) official website hpsc.gov.in. Candidates are also required to upload relevant documents with application form.
Upon successful application submission, applicants are required to take print of application form for future reference. Candidates will be required to bring hard copy of application form along with all uploaded documents when called upon to do so by the Commission.

Educational Qualifications
a) Common Qualifications for All Posts: Candidates must have matriculation with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects. They should also have a certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) and a consistent good academic record.
Age Limit
Candidates should be between 18 and 42 years as of the closing date for submission of online applications, which is 14/08/2024.
Scale of Pay
The scale of pay for the Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) is Rs. 47,600 – 1,51,100/- along with usual allowances as applicable from time to time.
Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Screening Test: (if applicable) with 100 MCQs. Candidates scoring a minimum of 25% will be considered for the next stage.
- Subject Knowledge Test: Candidates scoring a minimum of 35% will be considered for the interview.
- Interview/Viva-Voce: The interview has a weightage of 12.5%. The final merit list will be prepared by combining the marks of the subject knowledge test and the interview.
