The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released a notification regarding the Common Recruitment Process (CRP Clerks XIV) for the recruitment of Clerical cadre positions in participating banks for the 2025-26. IBPS will conduct online examinations (Preliminary and Main) for the selection of candidates. Candidates can register online starting from July 1, 2024, to July 21, 2024.

Educational Qualifications
(i) A candidate must possess a Graduate degree in any field from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification.
(ii) Candidates must have essential operational and working knowledge of computer systems. For this, candidate must hold a certificate/ diploma or degree in Computer Operations/ Languages or have studied Computer/ Information Technology as a subject in high school, college, or an institute.
(iii) Candidate must have proficiency (ability to read, write, and speak) in the official language of the State/UT where the candidate wishes to apply is preferred.

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2024)
For Clerk post, the minimum age limit is 20 years, and the maximum age is 28 years as on 1st July 2024. Therefore, candidates must have been born on or after July 2, 1996, and on or before July 1, 2004, inclusive of both dates. The relaxation in upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC candidates is allowed as per Govt. guidelines regarding the same.
Selection Process
The examination will be conducted in two stages: an Online Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) followed by an Online Main Examination (Objective Type). The examinations will be conducted online at various centers across India. During the online application process, candidates can select their preferred medium of examination.
Candidates who qualify in the Online Preliminary Examination, will be shortlisted for the Online Main Examination. After the Main Examination, candidates shortlisted based on state/UT wise vacancies as per the requirements of the Participating Banks, will be provisionally allocated to one of the Participating Banks based on merit and preference.

Application fees/ intimation charges must be paid through online mode (using Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets, or UPI) from July 1, 2024, to July 21, 2024, inclusive.
How to Apply
Candidates must apply online through the official IBPS website at www.ibps.in. On the homepage of the IBPS, click on the “CRP Clerks” section and select “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- Clerks (CRP-Clerks-XIV)” to open the Online Application Form.
Candidates need to click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” for new registration of application by entering their basic details. Upon submission, the system will generate a provisional registration number and password, which will be displayed on the screen. During the online application, candidates must specify the state where they wish to be provisionally allotted upon selection.
