Educational Qualifications
(i) Candidate must have passed Secondary School Examination/ 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics & English. (ii) Candidate must have studied local language up to 10th Standard. (iii) Candidate should also have Knowledge of Computer and Knowledge of cycling.

Age Limit (as on 05.08.2024)
The minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 5th August 2024. Upper age limit is relaxable for SC & ST by 05 years, 03 years for OBC and for PwD as per rules.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected for engagement based on a merit list generated by the system. The merit list will be compiled using the marks obtained or the conversion of grades/ points to marks in the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard.
Application Fee
Applicants are required to pay a fee of Rs.100 (Rupees one hundred only) for applying for post. However, female applicants, SC/ST, PwD applicants, and Transwomen applicants are exempt from paying the fee. Applicants can pay the fee through any online mode (recognized credit/ debit cards, net banking, and UPI) using the provided payment link.
How to Apply
Candidates are required to register and submit application online at GDS online Engagement Portal https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in from 15th July 2024 to 5th August 2024. When submitting the online application, applicants are required to upload their recent photograph and signature in the online application.

Educational Qualifications
(i) Candidate must have passed 10th Standard examination. (ii) Candidate must possess a valid driving license for light and heavy Motors vehicles. (iii) Candidate must have knowledge of Motor Mechanism. (iv) Candidate must also have minimum three years’ experience of driving light and heavy Motor vehicle
Age Limit
The minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum 27 years. Upper age limit is relaxable for SC & ST by 05 years, 03 years for OBC and 03 years for Ex-Serviceman.
Scale of Pay
Rs.19900-63200/- (Pay Level- 02 as per 7th CPC) plus admissible allowances.
Selection Process
Selection process will consist of Driving Test and Theory Test. Driving test will be conducted for both light and heavy vehicles to assess the competency to drive and ability to identify & fix minor vehicle problems.

Candidates are required to submit application in prescribed format filled in along with Two copies of recent passport size photographs, photocopies of certificate in support of Age, Educational Qualification, Valid Driving Licence etc. through Speed Post/ Register Post only at “The Manager, Mail Motor Service, Bengaluru-560001”.
The last date for receipt of application is on or before 14th May 2024 by 17.00 Hrs. “Application for the post of Staff Car Driver (Direct Recruitment) at MMS Bengaluru” should be written on the envelope.
