Indian Army has released a notification for NCC Special Entry Scheme 57th Course – Apr 2025 for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army. Married / unmarried Male and unmarried Female candidates (including wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel) can apply for NCC Special Entry Scheme 57th Course – Apr 2025. Candidates can submit online application from 11th July 2024 to 9th August 2024.

Education Qualification:

For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders:

(1) Candidate must possess a degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks (2) Candidates studying in final year can also apply provided they have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years. They will also need to secure overall aggregate of minimum 50% marks if selected in interview otherwise their candidature will be cancelled. (3) Candidate should have served for minimum two academic years in the Senior Division/ Wing of NCC. (4) Candidate should have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.

For Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel:

(1) Candidate must possess a degree from a recognized University or equivalent with at least 50% marks (2) NCC ‘C’ Certificate not required.

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2025)

For National Cadet Corps (NCC) candidates (including wards of Battle Casualties), minimum age limit is 19 years and maximum age limit is 25 years as on 1st January 2025. Candidate should be born on or after 02 Jan 2000 and on or before 01 Jan 2006 (both dates inclusive) can apply. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per norms.

Selection Process

Selection process will consist of two stages Stage I and Stage II. Only candidates who will clear Stage I will go to Stage II. After getting recommendations from Stage II, selected candidates will be called for medical examination.

After getting recommendations from SSB and declared medically fit, joining letter will be issued to selected candidates for training in the order of merit depending on the number of vacancies available. SSB interview will be held at Selection Centers, Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Kapurthala (PB).

How to Apply

Candidates can submit their applications online through Indian Army website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in under link ‘Officer Entry Application/Login’. Then candidates can register and submit their application from 11th July 2024 to 9th August 2024 up to 15:00 Hrs.
