Educational Qualifications
Candidate should have passed a Matriculation examination.

Sports Achievements
The selection will be made from candidates who have participated in any of the specified sports and games as follows:
1. Havildar:
(a) Individuals who have won medals at the Junior or Senior level by representing their state in National competitions or have represented Country at the International level in individual events.
(b) Individuals who have represented a State or country in National/ International competitions at the Junior or Senior level in team events.
(c) Individuals who have won medals in Khelo India Games and Youth Games or above.
2. Naib Subedar:
(a) Individuals must have won any medal in the World Championships or Asian Championships.
(b) Individuals must have won any medal in the Asian Games/ Commonwealth Games (CWG) or World Cup.
(c) Individuals must have represented India twice in the Asian Games, or Commonwealth Games, or World Cup.
(d) Individuals must have represented India in the Olympics.
Age Limit
The age limit for enrollment is from 17 ½ years to 25 years. Candidates must be at least 17 ½ years old on the first day of enrollment and not exceed 25 years old on the last day of enrollment. Candidates born between 01 October 1999 and 30 September 2006 (inclusive) are eligible to apply.
Scale of Pay
The scale of pay and allowances for direct entry Havildar and Naib Subedar will be the same as those for existing regular serving personnel of the Indian Army, as per the provisions of the Army Pay Rules, 2017, and any subsequent amendments.
Selection Process
Eligible candidates will be invited to attend the trials at designated Army Centers. Candidates who pass the Physical fitness test, Physical standards test, and Skill test will undergo a medical examination which will be conducted by Army Medical Team at the Trial site.
Candidates are required to bring Education Certificates, Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate etc and Twenty passport size photograph during attending the Sports Trials.

First, candidates can take the print of the application form on A4 size paper only (prescribed format given in the official notification linked at the end of this post). Indian Army Recruitment Notification 2024 – 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme
The Indian Army has released a notification for 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme – 52 Course Commencing from January 2025, for the grant of Permanent Commission in the Army. Eligible Unmarried Male candidates who have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2024 examination can submit applications from 13th May 2024 to 13th June 2024.

Educational Qualifications
(i) Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination (with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. (ii) Candidate should also have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2024.
Age Limit
Minimum age limit required is 161/2 years and candidate should be above 191/2 years of age for applying for this post. Candidate should be born on or after 2 July 2005 and on or before 01 Jul 2008 (both days inclusive).
Training & Type of Commission
There will be training for period of 04 years which will consist of Integrated Basic Military Training & Engineering Training. After successful completion of training course, cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lieutenant.
Scale of Pay
After completion of training period, candidate will be commissioned in the rank of Lieutenant in pay scale Level-10 ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500.
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB interview tentatively to be scheduled from August/ September 2024 onwards.
