Educational Qualifications
Candidate must possess a degree or its equivalent qualification with Psychology as a subject, or a Degree with a Bachelor of Education/ Bachelor of Teaching, or an equivalent qualification.
Age Limit (as on 05.08.2024)
Minimum age limit is 20 years and maximum 25 years as on 5th August 2024.

Scale of Pay
Candidates selected for Head Constable post will be paid salary as per pay scale Rs. 25500-81100 (Level-04 of the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC).
Selection Process
Selection Process will consist of Document Verification, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Written Examination. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) are qualifying in nature.
Candidates who will qualify in PET will be called for PST and candidates who will qualify in PST will be invited for Written Examination (Objective type). After Written Examination, a category wise merit list will be prepared based on marks in Written Examination.
Application Fee
The application fee for applying for Head Constable post is ₹100 (Rupees one hundred only). Application fee is required to be pay through the online payment gateway on the ITBP website using online payment methods.
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Women candidates and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation, are exempt from paying the application fee.
