Educational Qualifications
Candidate must possess Graduate degree in any field.
Age Limit (as on 01.08.2019)
Minimum age limit is 22 years and maximum 35 years for Unreserved/EWS category, 37 years for BC, 38 years for Women (Unreserved/BC), 40 years for SC/ ST as on 1st August 2019.
Scale of Pay
Pay Band-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/-

Selection Process will consist of a Preliminary Examination, Main Written Examination, and Interview.

JPSC Recruitment 2024 – 110 Assistant Professor Vacancies
Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) Ranchi has issued an employment notification at the official website www.jpsc.gov.in for direct recruitment of Assistant Professor to fill up 110 vacancies in medical universities/ institutes of the State. Candidates having requisite qualifications can apply online from 05th February 2024 to 04th March 2024.

Total Vacancies: 110
Age Limit (01.08.2021): Minimum age limit is 30 years and there is no upper age limit for Assistant Professor post.
Pay Scale: Level-11 of Pay Matrix, Rs. 15,600 – 39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.6,000/- (as per 7th pay commission)
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess Post Graduation (MD/ MS/ DNB) degree in the related subject.
Teaching & Research Experience
- Three years of experience as a Junior Resident in a recognized or permitted Medical College in the relevant subject and one year as a Senior Resident in the same subject at a recognized or permitted Medical College.
- For DNB candidates, along with three years of teaching experience in the subject as Resident/Registrar/Demonstrator/Tutor/ or Work Professor, an additional one-year term as a Senior Resident in the relevant subject at a recognized or permitted Medical College.

Selection Process: Candidates will be called for Personal Interview by Jharkhand Public Service Commission. Final selection will be made through a final merit list prepared based on marks obtained in the Personality Test/Interview and Educational Qualifications.
