MHRB Assam Recruitment 2024 – 526 Various Vacancies

Medical and Health Recruitment Board (MHRB), Assam has published a notification to fill 526 vacancies of Registrar / Demonstrator / Resident Physician etc. in Government Medical College Hospitals under Medical Education & Research Department. Last Date to submit online application is 23/02/2024.

Total Vacancies: 526

Scale of Pay: Candidate will be pay as per pay scale Rs.57,700/- – Rs.1,82,400/- PM (Academic level 10) along with other allowances as admissible under Rules.

Education Qualification:

a. Broad Specialty:

• Post Graduation (MD/ MS/ DNB) in these areas: Anesthesiology, Dermatology, ENT, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Microbiology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Psychiatry, Pediatrics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Surgery, Community Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, or Nuclear Medicine. The degree must be from a recognized Indian university or institute approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or National Board of Education (NBE).
• Post Graduation (MS – Anatomy or M.Sc -Medical Anatomy) with Ph.D (Medical Anatomy) for Anatomy Department.
• Post Graduation (MD -Biochemistry or M.Sc – Medical Biochemistry) with Ph.D (Medical Biochemistry) for Biochemistry Department.
• Post Graduation  (MD-Physiology or M.Sc -Medical Physiology) with Ph.D (Medical Physiology) for Physiology Department.

b. Super Specialty

• Post Graduation (MD/DNB) in General Medicine for Medical Super Specialty (Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Medical Oncology)
• Post Graduation (MS/DNB) in General Surgery for Surgical Super Specialty (Plastic Surgery, CTVS, Neurosurgery, Urology, Paediatric Surgery)
• Preference will be given to candidates having DM/ M.Ch./ DNB in the respective super specialty subject..

Age Limit (as on 1st January 2024): Minimum age limit for all posts is 21 Years and maximum 45 years as on 01.01.2024. Upper age limit is relaxable to respective categories as per govt. rules.

Application Fees: Application fee of Rs. 300 will required to be paid by General candidates (Application fee is Rs. 150/- for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, OBC/MOBC candidates). No fee charges for PWD candidates. Application Fees can be deposited either by Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “0210-Medical and Public Health-01-Urban Health Services-800-Other Receipt” OR can be pay online using Government Receipt Accounting System-GRAS (Website https://assamegras.gov.in).

Selection Process: Selection for all posts will be made through Interview based on academic performances and personalities tests.
