Eligible Graduate Engineers can apply online starting from 4th March 2024 to 2nd April 2024.

Educational Qualifications (Discipline wise)
- Mechanical: Candidate must possess full time regular degree of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)/ Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical or Production Engineering
- Electrical: Candidate must possess full time regular degree of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)/ Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical or Power Engineering
- Instrumentation: Candidate must possess full time regular degree of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)/ Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics/ Instrumentation / Telecom/ Electrical Engineering
- Metallurgy: Candidate must possess full time regular degree of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)/ Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Metallurgical Engineering
- Chemical: Candidate must possess full time regular degree of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)/ Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or M.Tech. in Applied Chemistry
- Chemistry: Candidate must possess full time regular Master of Science (M.Sc.) – Chemistry degree or AIC.
For all posts, the candidate must have qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 examination.
Scale of Pay
Selected candidates will go through one-year on-the-job training at various company locations. During the training period, pay scale of Rs. 40000 – 3% – 140000/- will be applicable for one year with starting salary of Rs. 40,000 per month.
After successfully completing training period and meeting the company’s performance requirements, candidate will be promoted to Assistant Manager (E1 grade) in the pay scale of Rs. 60000-3%-180000/- with one additional increment.
Age Limit (as on 02.04.2024)
The maximum age limit for Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) post is 30 years as on 2nd April 2024.

Selection Process
Scores obtained by candidates in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 will be used for selection of Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) in all disciplines. Candidates must have passed the GATE 2023 exam to apply for these posts.
Based on marks in percentage secured in education qualification and Marks secured in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023, shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview.
NALCO will select the final candidates based on both their GATE 2023 score and their performance in the personal interview.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs. 500 for General/ Other Backward Classes (OBC)/ EWS candidates, and Rs. 100 for all other candidates, including departmental candidates. Candidates can pay fee using internet banking, credit/debit card, or UPI through SBI Collect through link ‘Pay Application fee through SBI Collect’ during submitting online application.

Eligible candidates with requisite qualifications can apply online through Career page of NALCO website www.nalcoindia.com starting from 4th March 2024 to 2nd April 2024. Candidates will be required to upload scanned copy of their recent passport size colour photograph, signature and other documents at online application.
