Age Limit (as on 20.04.2024)
Upper age limit is 32 years for Engineer (RE-CDM) post and 30 years for all other posts. Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBCs/ Person with Disabilities (PWD)/ Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. guidelines.
Remuneration
For each post, selected candidates will be paid remuneration of Rs 83,000/- including fixed and variable components.
Educational Qualifications
a) Engineer (RE-Civil): (i) Candidate must have an Engineering Degree (B.E./ B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks. (ii) Candidate must have minimum post qualification experience of 03 years.
b) Engineer (RE-Electrical): (i) Candidate must have an Engineering Degree (B.E./ B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks. (ii) Candidate must have minimum post qualification experience of 03 years.
c) Engineer (RE-Mechanical): (i) Candidate must have an Engineering Degree (B.E./ B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks. (ii) Candidate must have minimum post qualification experience of 03 years.
d) Executive (RE-HR): (i) Candidate must possess a degree. (ii) Candidate must also have Post graduate degree/ Diploma/ Post Graduate program in Management (Human Resources/ Industrial Relations/ Personnel Management) or Master Degree in Social Work/ MHROD/ MBA with specialization in HR with minimum 60% marks. (iii) Candidate must have minimum post qualification experience of 03 years.
e) Engineer (RE-CDM): (i) Candidate must possess a degree in any discipline OR Postgraduate degree in Environment Science/ Environment Engineering/ Environment Management (ii) Candidate must have minimum post qualification experience of 05 years.
f) Executive (RE-Finance): (i) Candidate must be a qualified CA/CMA. (ii) Candidate must have minimum post qualification experience of 01 year.
g) Engineer (RE-IT): (i) Candidate must have an Engineering Degree (B.E./ B.Tech.) in Computer Science/ Information Technology with minimum 60% marks. (ii) Candidate must have minimum post qualification experience of 03 years.
h) Executive (RE-Corporate Communication): (i) Candidate must hold a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Journalism/ Advertisement & Public Relations/ Mass Communication with minimum 60% marks. (ii) Candidate must have minimum post qualification experience of 03 years.

Selection Process
NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) will conduct an online Written test and Personal Interview for the selection of posts. Written test will be held in Delhi/ Noida. Only shortlisted candidates from Online Written test will be called for personal interview.
Application Fee
Application fee of Rs. 500/- will be required to pay by General/ EWS/ Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories. Application fee will be pay online during online application submission by using any Net banking / Debit Card / Credit Card option. SC/ ST/ PwBD/ XSM category & female candidates are not required to pay any fee.
