Educational Qualifications
(i) A candidate must hold an MBBS with MD/MS degree from a recognized university or institution by the Medical Council of India or the National Medical Commission. Candidate should be registered with either the Punjab Medical Council or Medical Council of India, or the National Medical Commission.
(ii) Candidates must have passed Punjabi as a subject up to the Matriculation level.
Age Limit (as on 15.07.2024)
Upper age limit for Medical Officer post is 64 years as on 15th July 2024.

Consolidated Salary
Candidate selected for Medical Officer (Specialist) post will be paid consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 1,00,000 per month.
Selection Process
The selection for Medical Officer post will be made through an Interview. Candidates are required to bring original documents in support of qualification, experience, Punjabi up to Matriculation, age proof, and other relevant certificates, along with one self-attested photocopy of each, two recent passport-size photographs for submission at the interview.

Online submission of application forms will start on 1st July 2024 and will close on 15th July 2024 at the official website of NHM Punjab www.nhm.punjab.gov.in. The interview date and venue will be announced later via SMS and through a notice on the website.
