Educational Qualifications
1. Assistant Sub-Inspector: (a) The officers of the Central Govt./ State Govt./ Union Territories: (i) Who are holding analogous post on regular basis (OR) One rank up if, HCs,with 05 years regular service
(b) Candidate must hold a Graduate degree along with minimum 02 years relevant experience.
2. Head Constable: The officers of the Central/ State Police Organization or any other investigation bodies: (a) Who are holding similar post on regular basis (b) Candidate must have passed 12th Examination.
3. Inspector: (a) The officers of the Central Govt./ State Govt./ Union Territories: (i) Who are holding similar post on regular basis (OR) 05 years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment on regular basis
(b) Candidate must hold a Bachelor degree in any field along with minimum 02 years relevant experience.
4. Sub-Inspector: (a) The officers of the Central Govt./ State Govt./ Union Territories: (i) Who are holding similar post on regular basis (OR) 06 years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment on regular basis
(b) Candidate must hold a Bachelor degree in any field along with minimum 02 years relevant experience.

(b) Candidates must possess a Graduate Degree from a recognized University. Candidates must have passed the computer proficiency test as per the Staff Selection Commission.
- Stenographer Grade-I: Officers of the Stenographer’s cadre under the Central Government or State Governments or Union territories, – (a) (i) Holding analogous position on a regular basis in the current cadre/department OR (ii) With six years’ service in level-5 (Rs. 29200-92300) on a regular basis in the current cadre/department. OR (iii) 10 years of service in level-4 (Rs. 25500-81100) on a regular basis in the current cadre/department. Candidates must possess a Graduate Degree and must have computer proficiency.
- Upper Division Clerk: Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union territories: – (a) Holding analogous position on a regular basis in the current cadre/ department.
