Eligibility Criteria/ Educational Qualifications
- A candidate must hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry, or a Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Engineering.
- Applicant should possess the ability to read, write, and speak in Odia language. Additionally, candidate should have successfully passed the Middle School Examination with Odia as a subject/ Matriculation with Odia as medium of examination.

Age Limit
Candidate should be of minimum 21 years of age and upper age limit is 38 years as on 1st January 2024. Candidate born on or after 02.01.1986 and on or before 01.01.2003 can apply for this vacancy.
Scale of Pay
Level-10 of the pay matrix under ORSP (CT) Rules, 2017 along with allowances as admissible by the Govt.
Selection Process
A Competitive Recruitment Examination (A Written Test & Interview/ Viva-Voce) will be conducted for the selection of candidates for Assistant Soil Conservation Officer. Written Examination will consist of two papers (100 marks each) having Multiple Choice Questions in both papers. Candidates shortlisted from Written Test on the basis of marks will be invited for Interview/ Viva-Voce test.
Examination Fee
No examination fee is required to pay by any candidates to apply for Assistant Soil Conservation Officer vacancy.
