Punjab National Bank (PNB) has released a notification regarding engagement of Apprentices for 2700 posts under The Apprentices Act 1961 (as amended) at Punjab National Bank in all States/ UTs of India. Eligible candidates interested in the apprentice’s post can apply online from 30th June 2024 to 14th July 2024.

Educational Qualifications
(i) Candidates must possess a Graduate degree in any field.
(ii) Candidates applying for training seats in a specific state or union territory must be proficient in the local language (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) of that State/ UT.

Age Limit (as on 30.06.2024)
Candidate should be of minimum 20 years old and upper age limit is 28 years as on 30th June 2024. Candidate should have been born on or after 30th June,1996, (or) on or before 30th June 2004. This maximum age limit applies to Unreserved & EWS candidates. Relaxations in the upper age limit are applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates according to Government of India guidelines.

Selection Process
Selection process for apprentices will consist of Online Written test (MCQs type), Test for knowledge of local language and Medical Examination.

Applicants will be required to pay the required fees/ intimation charges only through online mode between June 30, 2024, and July 14, 2024.
How to Apply
- Applicants can visit the Punjab National Bank website at www.pnbindia.in to apply online for apprentice post from 30th June 2024 to 14th July 2024. Candidates have to visit ‘Recruitment’ section to access the ‘Online application for engagement of Apprentices: 2024-25’ link to apply online.
- All eligible applicants should register for the apprenticeship entrance examination/test through ‘Career Opportunities’ section of website www.bfsissc.com and pay the required examination fees. After that, applicants must register & complete their profile, if not already done, separately on two government apprenticeship portals:
i. NAPS Apprenticeship Portal at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in (Apprentices Login/Registration Section)
ii. NATS portal at www.nats.education.gov.in (Student Register/Login Section – applicable only for those who graduated on or after April 1, 2020).
