Educational Qualifications
i) Junior Engineer (Directorate of Town and Village Planning Department): Candidate must have completed three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent or candidate with higher qualification in same discipline can apply. Candidate must have knowledge of Punjabi Language. Candidate must have passed 10th Class having Punjabi as one of Main/ Elective subject.
ii) Junior Engineer (Water Supply & Sanitation Department): Candidate must have completed an Engineering Diploma (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or its equivalent) or candidate with higher qualification can apply. Candidate must have knowledge of Punjabi Language. Candidate must have passed 10th Class having Punjabi as one of Main/ Elective subject.
Scale of Pay/ Salary
Selected candidates on Junior Engineering post will be paid Rs. 35400/- per month.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2024)
Minimum age limit is 18 years for all categories and maximum 37 years for General, 42 years for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe of Punjab, 45 years for Central/ State Govt employees.

Selection Process
A Written Examination (Objective type – Multiple Choice Questions) will be conducted for the selection of the candidates for Junior Engineer posts. Based on merit as per marks obtained by candidates in Written Examination, selected candidates will be called for Document verification.

Applicants can fill their application online through PSSSB’s official website sssb.punjab.gov.in from 26th February 2024 to 18th March 2024 up to 5:00 PM. Candidates must upload all required documents/ photographs during online application submission.
