Rail Wheel Factory, Ministry of Railways is looking for candidates to join as Act Apprentices in various trades under Apprentice Act, 1961 for the year 2023-24. Rail Wheel Factory has released a notification at its official website for recruitment to 192 Apprentices posts. Last date to submit application is 22nd March 2024.

Educational Qualifications
Candidate Must have passed 10th Class/ Matriculation Examination or its equivalent with at least 50% marks overall. Additionally, the candidate must hold a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the specific trade offered by the program, issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). Candidates must be registered with the local Employment Exchanges.
Age Limit (as on 23.02.2024)
To be eligible for the apprenticeship program, candidate must be of minimum 15 years of age and below 24 years as on 23rd February 2024

Stipend
Candidates undertaking training in CNC Programming-cum-Operator will be paid stipend of Rs.10,899/- per month during the period of apprenticeship training, while for all other trades, candidates will receive monthly stipend of Rs. 12,261/-.
Selection Process
Applicants for apprenticeships will be selected on the basis of merit list prepared based on based on marks secured by candidates in 10th/Matriculation exam. A Final merit list will be prepared equal to the number of designated trades proposed to be filled.
Application Fee
There is a processing fee of Rs. 100/- which must be paid in form of Indian Postal Order/ Demand Draft from any Nationalised Bank of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of ‘Principal Financial Adviser/ Rail Wheel Factory’. This Indian Postal Order/ Demand Draft has to be included in the application to be submitted.
How to Apply
Candidates have to submit their applications in prescribed format available on official website/ with official notification linked below.
An Indian Postal Order/ Demand Draft from any Nationalised Bank of Rs. 100/- as processing fee must be included with the application. It should be drawn in favour of ‘Principal Financial Adviser/ Rail Wheel Factory’. A recent passport size color photograph should be affixed on the application form and self-attested photocopies of required certificate/ documents (Mark sheets, NTC certificate, Caste certificate etc.) to be enclosed with application.
Dully filled in Application to be sent through Registered Post to the office of The Assistant Personnel Officer, Personnel Department, Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore-560064 on or before 22nd March 2024, 17:00.
