Government of India, Ministry of Railways, Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) has released a Centralised Employment Notice for recruitment to 9144 posts of Technician Grade-I Signal & Technician Grade-III posts across India. Online Application window for application submission will be open from 9th March 2024 and continue till 8th April 2024.

Educational Qualifications
- Technician Grade-I Signal: A) Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in any of Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology/ Instrumentation OR B.Sc. in a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Physics/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Instrumentation (OR)
B) 03 years Engineering Diploma in any of the above-mentioned basic streams or their combinations (OR)
An Engineering degree in the any of the above-mentioned basic streams or their combinations. - Technician Grade-III: Candidate must have passed Matriculation/ SSLC along with ITI from NCVT/ SCVT recognized institute in the relevant trade (OR) Matriculation/ SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the related trades.

Selection Process
Selection process for Technician posts will consist of a Computer Based Test (CBT), Document Verification (DV) and a Medical Examination. Computer Based Test will be separate for each pay level.
On the basis of marks scored in Computer Based Test, candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification equal to number of vacancies. Candidates will finally be appointed after passing Medical Fitness Test
Examination Fee
Examination fee charges applicable for applying for Technician post is as follows:

Through using Net Banking/ UPI Payment option or debit/ credit cards, candidate can pay examination fee online at the time of submitting online application.
How to Apply
Candidates can submit online application through any of the official websites of the RRBs from 9th March 2024 to 8th April 2024 (23:59 hrs). Candidate first need to create an account on the official RRB websites by providing basis information. Then, candidates then can fill in the online application form by providing all required details and uploading relevant documents.
Candidate should choose only one RRB for a specific pay level and submit only one common online application for any or all of the notified posts.
