SEBI Recruitment Notification 2024 – 97 Officer Jobs, Apply Online

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has released a notification for recruitment to 97 vacancies of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) in the General, Legal, Information Technology, Engineering (Electrical), Research and Official Language Streams. Eligible candidates can submit application online application from 11th June 2024 to 30th June 2024.

Educational Qualifications (Stream wise)

a) General: Candidates with Postgraduate degree/ diploma in any discipline OR Bachelor’s Degree in Law/ Engineering Graduate Degree or CA/ Chartered Financial Analyst/ Company Secretary/ Cost Accountant can apply.

b) Legal: Candidate must hold a Law degree. Candidates with two years’ post qualification experience as an Advocate will be preferred.

c) Information Technology: Candidate must have an Engineering degree in any field or Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum 02 year post graduate qualification in Computer science/ computer application/ information technology.

d) Engineering (Electrical): Candidate must hold a Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering.

e) Research: Candidate with Postgraduate Degree/ Diploma in Economics/ Commerce/ Business Administration or equivalent degree are eligible to apply.

f) Official Language: Candidate must possess Postgraduate Degree in Hindi/ Hindi Translation with English as a subject at the Graduate level; OR Postgraduate Degree in Sanskrit/ English/ Economics/ Commerce with Hindi as a subject at Graduate level; OR Postgraduate Degree in both English & Hindi/ Hindi Translation.

Age Limit (as on 31.03.2024)

Candidate should be below 30 years of age as on 31st March 2024 i.e., candidate should have been born on or after 1st April 1994. Relaxation in upper age is applicable to reserved categories as per rules.

Scale of Pay

The pay scale for Officer post is Rs. 44500-2500(4)-54500-2850(7)-74450-EB-2850(4)-85850-3300(1)-89150 (17 years).

Selection Process

Selection process for Officer posts will consist of three Phases: (i) Phase-I will be an Online Screening Examination consisting of two papers), (ii) Phase-II is an Online Examination consisting of two papers), (iii) Phase-III (Interview).

Candidates shortlisted in Phase-I exam will be called for Phase-II examination and candidates who will qualify in Phase-II exam will then be called for the Interview. For details of scheme & syllabus of examination, please refer to official notification linked below of this post.
