Age Limit (as on 1st January 2024)
For applying for the post of Post Graduate Teacher, candidate should be of minimum 21 years and upper age limit is 38 years as on 01.01.2024. Candidate should have been born on or after 2nd January 1986 and on or before 1st January 2003
Educational Qualifications
(i) Candidate must possess Postgraduate degree in relevant subject/ Integrated Master’s Degree (06 years).
(ii) Candidate should also have completed B.Ed. or equivalent qualification (except for the posts of PGT in Commerce, Education, Geology, Home Science, Logic & Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, IRPM, Telugu & Urdu subjects).
Scale of Pay
Selected candidates will be paid the under Scale of Pay of Rs. 44,900- 1,42,400- as per Pay Matrix of Level 10 along with other allowances.

Selection Process
A Written test (Multiple-Choice type) and career assessment will be conducted together for the selection of candidates. Written test will be held in Balasore, Berhampur, Bhawanipatna, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jeypore, Keonjhar, Rourkela and Sambalpur. Date of Written test will be notified later.
Application Fee
Application fee charges are Rs. 500 for Un-reserved (UR) / SEBC category; Rs. 200 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and PwD categories. Fees will be paid online during the submission of online application at SSB Odisha website.
How to Apply
Applications will be submitted online through website of State Selection Board, Odisha where candidates can fill all the required details and upload latest passport size photograph, scanned image of full signature and left-hand thumb impression. Link to submit online applications will be activated starting from 18th March 2024 to 18th April 2024.
