Educational Qualifications
Candidate must possess any Graduate degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification. Male candidates who are applying for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, must have a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car).

Scale of Pay
- Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs: (Level-6) Rs. 35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-
- Sub-Inspector (Executive) – (Male/Female) in Delhi Police: (Level-6) Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-
Age limit (As on 1st August 2024)
Candidate should be of minimum 20 years of age and maximum age limit for all posts is 25 years as on 01.08.2024. It means the applicant must have been born on or after 2nd August 1999 and on or before 1st August 2004. Age relaxation for reserved categories is applicable as per norms.
Selection Process
Selection for the posts will be made through Computer Based Examinations (Paper-I & Paper-II), Physical Endurance Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Paper-I & Paper-II will consist of Objective Multiple Choice Type questions.
Candidates shortlisted based on performance in Paper-I will be called for Physical Endurance Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST). PST/PET are mandatory but only qualifying in nature. Candidates who successfully completed PST/PET will be able to appear in Paper-II Examination.
Further, candidates will be considered for the Medical Examination based on their performance in Paper-I and Paper-II. The final selection and allocation of positions will be determined based on the performance in Paper-I and Paper-II and the preference of Posts. Application Fee
There is an application fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) to apply for the examination. Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Women candidates and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are not required to pay application fee. Candidates can pay fees online using any of these online payment modes: BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Credit or Debit card. Last date to pay fee is 29th March 2024 (2300 Hrs).

Applicants can register & submit application online through https://ssc.nic.in. First, candidates can register through ‘Register Now’ link available on website. After submission of Registration form by submitting basic details, applicants can login and submit Online Application Form.
