Educational Qualifications
a) Junior Statistical Officer: Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline having minimum 60% Marks in Mathematics at 10+2 level OR Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
b) Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects studied in all the three years of the course.
c) All Other Posts: Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.

Selection Process
A Computer Based Examination will be conducted which will consist of two parts: Tier-I and Tier-II. Tier-I paper will consist of Objective Type (Multiple choice questions) in English & Hindi. Tier will include two papers: Paper-I & Paper-II. Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts and Paper-II is only required for those candidates who will apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) & Statistical Investigator Grade-II.
Application Fee
Candidates applying for the posts are required to pay application fee of Rs. 100/-. Fees can be pay online using Debit cards, BHIM UPI, or Net Banking till 25th July 2024, 23:00 hrs. However, there are no fee charges for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Ex-servicemen (ESM) and Women candidates.
How to Apply
Candidate must submit application online at the new SSC website (https://ssc.nic.in/). Candidate will need to register for a one-time registration (OTR) if haven’t done so already. Candidate must be required to upload his/ her photograph, scanned signature in the online application. The deadline to submit online application is July 24th, 2024, at 11:00 PM.
