Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training (Government of India), Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued an employment notification at ssc.nic.in for Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2024.
Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2024 will be conducted for selection of Group C posts (Lower Divisional Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Data Entry Operators) in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Govt of India and other Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc. Applications can be submitted online from 8th April 2024 to 7th May 2024.

Educational Qualifications
a) Data Entry Operator (DEO) in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Ministry of Culture: Candidate should have passed 12th Standard in Science stream with Mathematics as one of subject.
b) LDC/ JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (Departments other than mentioned in point a): Candidate should be 12th Standard or equivalent examination passed.
Age Limit (as on 01.08.2024)
Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 27 years as on 1st August 2024 (Candidates born on or after 02 August 1997 and on or before 01 August 2006 are eligible to apply). Upper age limit is relaxable as per govt norms.

Selection Process
Selection will be made through Computer Based Examination which will be conducted in two tiers: Tier-I & Tier-II. Tier-I Examination will be Objective Type (Multiple choice questions) examination in English, Hindi and any language opted by the candidate.
Tier-II will consist of Objective Type (Multiple choice questions) paper and Skill Test/Typing Test. For complete scheme & syllabus of examination, please refer to official notification linked below.
Application Fee
Application fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) will be required to be paid for applying for the post. Fee can be pay online using online payment methods like BHIM UPI/ Net-Banking/ any Credit or Debit card.
Female candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) categories are not required to pay any fees. Last date for payment of online fee is 19th March 2024 (2300 Hrs).

Candidates can submit applications online through SSC official website https://ssc.gov.in starting from 8th April 2024 to 7th May 2024.
Candidates will be required to upload scanned copy of photograph, signature and other relevant documents at the online application.
