Telangana State Public Service Commission, Hyderabad, has released a notification for Group-I Services (General Recruitment). Online applications are invited through the Commission’s website (https://www.tspsc.gov.in) to fill 563 posts of Group-I Services in the State of Telangana. Online portal will be open for registration from 23rd February 2024 to 14th March 2024.

Age Limit as on 1st July 2024:
- Deputy Superintendent of Police, Assistant Excise Superintendent – Minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum 35 years.
- Regional Transport Officer – Minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age is 46 years.
- Deputy Superintendent of Jails – Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum 35 years
- All Other Posts – Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum 46 years.

Educational Qualifications:
a. Regional Transport Officer: Candidate must possess Engineering Degree in relevant discipline (Mechanical Engineering/ Automobile Engineering) or equivalent qualification.
b. Assistant Commissioner of Labour: Candidate must possess degree in Bachelor of Arts/ Commerce/ Science or Engineering
c. Assistant Treasury Officer / Assistant Accounts Officer / Assistant Lecturer in the Training College and School: Candidate must possess a bachelor degree in Commerce/ Economics/ Mathematics
d. For all other posts: Candidate must possess any Graduate Degree from any recognized University
Application Fee:
Applicants have to pay Online Application Processing Fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) and Examination Fee of Rs. 120/- (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty Only). Both fees have to pay online through the payment gateway using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card and UPI. No fee charges for all unemployed candidates
Selection Process:
Selection for Group-I services will be made through a Preliminary Test (Objective type) and a Written (Main) Examination of Descriptive type. The Preliminary Test will be conducted for shortlisting candidates for the Main Examination and will consist of questions related to General Studies and Mental Ability. Both tests will be conducted in English, Telugu & Urdu. The Preliminary Test (Objective Type) will be conducted in May/June-2024, and the Main Examination will be conducted in September/October-2024. How to Apply
Candidates can visit TSPSC website (https://www.tspsc.gov.in) to fill the OTR Form to create a TSPSC ID. If the candidate already registered, he/she can directly login to submit the application. Candidates are required to upload all necessary documents in the online application.
Candidates who have applied earlier for Group-I Services under Notification No. 04/2022 Dt. 26/04/2022 (now cancelled), must apply again for this new notification. However, they are not required to pay any fee again (if paid previously).
Important Dates:
- Submission of Online Applications: From 23/02/2024 to 14/03/2024
- Application Edit Option: From 23/03/2024 at 10:00 A.M. to 27/03/2024 at 5:00 P.M.
- Downloading of Hall Tickets: 7 days prior to the Examination and up to 4 hours before the commencement of Examination.
- Preliminary Test (Objective Type): May/June 2024
- Main Examination (Conventional Type): September/October 2024.
