Educational Qualifications
Candidate must possess one of following qualifications:
1. (i) Candidate should hold a degree of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) (Hons.) in Nursing or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Nursing OR B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) or Post-Basic B.Sc. (Nursing). (ii) Candidate must have registration with the State/ Indian Nursing Council as Nurse & Midwife. OR
2. (i) Candidate must have completed a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery. (ii) Candidate must have registration with the State/ Indian Nursing Council as Nurse & Midwife. (iii) Candidate should have minimum two years’ post qualification experience in a hospital with a bed capacity of minimum 50 beds.
Scale of Pay
Rs. 44900 – 142400/- (Level – 07 in the pay Matrix)
Age Limit (as on 1st January 2024)
The minimum age limit is 18 years and upper age limit is 40 years as on 1st January 2024. Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, OBCs and other such categories will be given relaxation in the upper age limit.

Selection Process
Selection for Nursing Officer will be made through a Computer Based Test (CBT) – 2024. Computer Based Test will be both in English & Hindi languages with Multiple Choice Questions. Based on the performance in Computer Based Test, provisionally qualified candidates will be called for Documents verification of original certificates along with two sets of self-attested photocopies. Final selection will be made as per merit in the Computer Based Test (CBT).
Application Fee
Candidates have to pay application fee charges as follows:
- Rs. 2360/- for Unreserved/ EWS/ OBC Category Candidates.
- Rs. 1416/- for Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) Category.
