Educational Qualifications

Candidate must possess Bachelor’s degree (04 years) in Fishery Science from a recognized University. (ii) Candidate must possess knowledge of Fisheries, Aquaculture, Aquatic Resources and Fishing Harbour in West Bengal. (iii) Candidate should be able to read and write Bengali/ Nepali

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2024)

Upper age limit is 39 years as on 1^st January 2024

Scale of Pay

Rs.32,100 – Rs.82,900/- (Level – 10 of Pay Matrix) as per WBS (ROPA) Rules, 2019

Selection Process

The selection process may consist of a Screening Test, Interview. In the case of large number of applications, shortlisted candidates on the basis of marks obtained in higher qualifications or experience in concerned field will be called for interview after the screening test.

Candidates applying for the post are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 160/- (Rupees one hundred sixty) only either through Online mode (using debit/credit cards/ net banking facility) or Offline mode through Bank Counter. No fees are required from S.C./S.T. candidates of West Bengal and Persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD)
